Jenny Persha - Founder

From my earliest memories, I've seen animals as loving, intelligent beings. I believe that with knowledge comes responsibility, and we must care for animals better. This belief led me to become a vegetarian as a teenager growing up on a farm. Now I educate others about animal welfare and compassionate care.

I started by helping friends care for their animals, which eventually evolved into a part-time side job. As I delved deeper into the industry, I noticed a gap in professional in-home pet care services in Madison. This realization fueled my commitment to providing top-notch care for pets in the comfort of their own homes. My entrepreneurial spirit kicked in and I knew I needed to make this a full-time business so we could help more pets and their families.

I am fascinated with the talking buttons for pets. I would love to someday have a pet pig and use the talking buttons.

Many pets I cared for adored the sploot position, which inspired our name.

  • Yes, I was that kid who always had a small menagerie.  Now, I’m that adult! I have always been fascinated with animals and nature. A life-long lover of all creatures, I was fortunately able to turn my passion into a career and have been training dogs, birds of prey, horses, and other animals for nearly 30 years. Recently, I moved to Madison from Milwaukee, where I ran a successful private dog training and walking business.

As a professional animal trainer, I’ve completed rigorous coursework in Animal Training for Professionals through NEI, inc. My training is scientifically sound, fun, motivational, and positive.  I am honored to have helped over 300 families and nearly 1,000 dogs become more confident, calm, and responsive.

I currently share my home with my Husband Jim, our adorable, whip-smart 3-year-old Havanese Benny, our truly remarkable 3-year-old rescue Bouvier des Flanders Bella, and our almost 30-year-old Ball Python Rambo.  I am so excited to meet you and your pups and can’t wait to help you achieve your training goals!

  • Justice shares his home with three cats — Benjamin, Jerald, and Astro — a lively crew that’s been part of his life for over five years. Each has their own personality, but together they’ve become some of the friendliest cats he’s ever known.

Animals bring Justice a sense of calm and comfort, and he loves showing them affection and helping them feel safe. After the loss of his own dog, he was drawn to Sploot Pet Concierge as a way to surround himself with pets again and to bring the same stress relief and joy to the animals he cares for.

When he’s not with furry friends, Justice enjoys spending time in downtown Madison and along State Street, where the energy of the city makes him feel alive. He also has a soft spot for cat cafés — he finds them the perfect place to relax and recharge.

  • Jill shares her home with four rescue pets — one dog and three cats — and also fosters dogs, so there’s always a full house of love and wagging tails. After retiring from a career working with people, she’s thrilled to now dedicate her time to caring for furbabies.

One of her favorite places to explore is Viking Park in Stoughton, where dogs can swim in the Yahara River or enjoy peaceful walks along the wooded trails. Clients can always count on Jill to show their pets the same love and attention she gives her own.

  • Description text gonimal Whisperer...I think so. Animal Lover...100%. Ever since I was a little girl animals have been a part of my life in one capacity or another. From our extended family farm, to the strays we welcomed in, to the furbabies who chose us, and to those I rescued in my adult years, animals have always found their way into my world, and heart.

My own personal hambones have been my 110lb black lab, Stella; my 185lb English Mastiff, Marlowe; and my most recent was my 175lb Harlequin Great Dane, Hugo Louis. Having lost Louis in February of 2023, I decided to focus my attention for a bit on caring for others' furbabies to give myself time to grieve until my next beast finds their way to me. I am a big glob of love, that would love to hang out with your fur friends; and I promise to love them like my own. es here
